US HWY 281 is CLOSED between Pickstown and Lake Andes in southern South Dakota, just north of Fort Randall Dam. Suggested detour is East on SD Hwy 46, North on S Marty Rd/388th Ave to rejoin US-281 north of Ravinia, SD.
LANE CLOSURES
North of Red Cloud, NE — Bridge Construction. The roadway is reduced to one lane for approx. 6 mi. Traffic maintained with flaggers, temporary traffic lights, or pilot car.
South of Spencer, NE — Road construction. The roadway is reduced to one lane for approx. 6 mi. Traffic maintained with flaggers, temporary traffic lights, or pilot car.
South of New Rockford, ND — Chip Sealing. Approx. 2.5 mi. Flaggers and pilot car are present with wait times less then 10 minutes. Loose rock and oil are present with no centerline currently and no passing.
North of Cheyenne, ND — Chip Sealing. Approx. 10 mi. Flaggers and pilot car are present with wait times less then 15 minutes. Loose rock and oil are present with no centerline currently and no passing.
